A few of my friends have voiced out to me asking me how do I go about using the application VSCO CAM to edit my pictures.
As such, I've decided to create these simple instructions on how do I use the application to edit my instagram uploads.
First of all, importing the picture I want.
Next up, I'll apply the VSCO CAM preset filter. I will usually pick the F2 filter because it's my personal favourite, however, do play around the other filters to see which suits the picture and your style best.
Click on the selected filter once to access the screen below. You could then adjust the strength of the filter depending on your liking.
Click the tick button on the bottom right screen corner and then select the down arrow at the bottom of the screen to bring up the following tool bar (as shown on the bottom image). After which, select the 2nd option (highlighted in green below).
Following which, I will adjust the exposure of the image. Usually I will increase the exposure to make my image slightly brighter.
I will then crop the image to however I want it to appear on instagram. In this case, I wouldn't want the mug, the water bottle on the left or sunglasses to appear.
Last but not least, I will add fade to my image.
And that's it.
Of course you can play around with the other different settings as well. Just remember to have fun and be creative while editing your pictures!
